In God’s hands

Put it in God’s hands. He is more than able.

Lord, You are God. We put it (whatever is burdening us) in Your hands, acknowledge You and that all the power belongs to You! What else can we do but acknowledge, pray and wait? We can praise our way through.

Jehoshaphat was wise to lead the people into the promises of God which are yes and amen! He knew how to get ahold of God. The people were wise to listen and to praise their way through… He could have taken matters into his own hands, but he didn’t. Instead, He gave it all to You. Unlike the unwise Philistines in the Bible who decided to take matters into their own hands, destroying themselves, when You clearly tell us NOT TO! Like Jehoshaphat, we must acknowledge:

  • and said: “LORD, the God of our ancestors, are you not the God who is in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. Power and might are in your hand, and no one can withstand You! 2 Chronicles 20:6

Basically saying that the same God that saved us before can do it again. God doesn’t need reminding but we do, so this we can recall! He is the same yesterday, today and forever more. He never changes His mind and He clearly says that vengeance belongs to Him. He will repay! It’s not a question of if but when. Unless one repents, God doesn’t forget. Taking matters into our own hands is disobedience and is the worse thing we can do.

We acknowledge, Lord, both Your presence and Your power! It all belongs to You!

  • Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance IS MINE, I will repay,” says the Lord. Romans 12:19

First off, when God says something, “listen and obey!” Second, we can trust Him and take Him at His word, indeed. Third, He is not a man that He should lie or a son of man that He should repent! He’ll do exactly what He says He will do. Lastly, do not take something that belongs to Him and doesn’t belong to you, or don’t expect it to go or end well for you. If it’s not yours, leave it alone! Even if it happened to you, He can change it for you. He is very very clear in His instructions, there is no grey. The same God that did it last time, is He not able to do it again????

“God is not a man, that He should lie,

Nor a son of man, that He should repent.

Has He said, and will He not do?

Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” Numbers 23:19

May we take this to heart! Will He not???

Faith requires trust and trust requires fear. Not the wrong kind of fear that’s unhealthy and causes us to focus on what comes against us or who, but rather the healthy reverential fear of God Almighty Who created us! Because we know the ONE WHO! Amen!! Faith isn’t the absence of fear but it’s trusting God through and through and NOT giving into unhealthy or ruling fear! God rules! So again, faith requires trust but trust requires fear of God that leads to obedience. But, the wrong kind of fear will lead you astray. You are free in Christ if you know Him but make no mistake: you and I follow what we fear! Like it and know it, or not, we do! We’re either free in it (in Him) or a slave to it (wrong fear is sin). We both fear and trust Him because we know that He is in control and He will not lead us astray. Worry becomes both a focus and a fear that is ever before you, and it controls you if you don’t focus on Him and His promises true! Did He not promise to take care of us, IF WE obey.

  • For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7

I have not given you…. What He has not given us is not from Him. So if it causes anxiety , worry, angst, fear, reserve, confusion, questioning or doubt, then it’s not Him or from Him. Yes, He can give us uneasiness and warning for lack of peace in danger but 1- He is NOT the author of confusion but is peace, so we must be led by peace (or lack thereof as an indicator of danger) and 2- timidity is a spirit and it leads to fear. The enemy is the father of all lies. He is the one that causes fear, doubt, worry, uncertainty, unrest, and ultimately defeat . He wants you UNdone. God wants you to rest!!!!!

  • For thus saith the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: “In returning and rest shall ye be saved, in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength; but ye would not. Isaiah 30:15

For the one who constantly questions, reasons and worries, talks him or herself right out of faith. Jehoshaphat knew what to do and how to get ahold of God, TO PRAY AND CONFESS AND ACKNOWLEDGE HIM. Doubt, worry, and fear is all a spirit and it is not from the Holy Spirit, nor does it come from operating In Him. The majority of the Israelites didn’t enter into their promised land simply because of their unbelief! Be the few amongst the many fear mongers.

  • So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief. Hebrews 3:19

  • Since therefore it remains that some must enter it, and those to whom it was first preached did not enter because of disobedience, Hebrews 4:6

Fear is the scariest place to be. Under the shelter of The Most High we can be!

Disobedience is unbelief and unbelief is disobedience.

  • again He designates a certain day, saying in David, “Today,” after such a long time, as it has been said:

“Today, if you will hear His voice,
Do not harden your hearts.” Hebrews 4:7

May we listen to His voice when He speaks! He is instructing us into safety, not fear!

Fear is a liar! God is truth! Therefore fear not and follow ME. He leads us into all truth. Amen!! 🙏🏽

Only reverential fear will do and He clearly tells us to fear Him and keep His commands and that if we love Him, we do. He tells us to fear not but to be strong and courageous, to do what He calls and tells us to do. It takes faith. It’s not in our own ability as we must abide in Him to bear His fruits, but it is a decision and an act of surrender.

Both power and might are in your hand God! There is only one of You and no one is able to take a stand against You! No One is able to save but You! My God, You are mighty to save. I know how this story ends. We’ve already read the last page. I’m gonna see a victory for the battle belongs to You God!

Last, but not least, who Jehoshaphat and the people were going up against, was the very people that God told them earlier on not to fight against. If we look back to Deuteronomy, we’ll find this! Not so Ironically, now they were fighting against the very ones who didn’t provoke them. This is how they repaid them? Seemed very unfair. Yet, You Oh God already had foresight and fore knowledge that this would happen, as You do with everything! You knew our ending from our very beginning.

You already had a plan from the beginning. It may seem like things are unfair or things have taken a twist when You made promises. But, Your promises remain true and you are steadfast, even when things are ever changint. You cannot change or fail. Job 34 tells us that Your eyes are on the ways of man and you see his steps. There is nothing hidden from you. No, nothing or no one, we are all the works of Your hands. You don’t need permission to do what you’re gonna do. Sometimes the twist is just part of Your plan to show Yourself mighty and our enemy weak...

There’s always a plot twist in the end and a lot of times it was preplanned, but all the time it is in Your hands. You promised to work it all out for our good. Just as you told Jehoshaphat, that he didn’t have to fight, only stand and see Your salvation. Sometimes all we have to do is to be still. Being still may be hard to do, but when God’s promised a victory, it belongs to Him. We can actively praise even in the stillness. The battle belongs to You God and the the victory belongs too, and we belong to You!

Again, we must remember that it is in Your hands. You are mighty to save. You will save us and just as you told them to be not afraid or dismayed, for the battle is not ours but Yours, so must we trust and believe. We need not fight, but we only need to take our positions in You, stand still and witness the salvation of You Oh God. They took You at Your word and promises that cannot fail! They did what you told them to do but yet they took it a step further. When it was time to go out to the battle to stand, they not only went out like you told them do but they begin to praise. That’s when You set the ambushes against the enemy. Our weapon is our melody!

So again, even if it looks like you did the right thing just for it to turn on you, remember that God gets the final say.

“See a victory” by elevation worship! 🎶

Wait and you will see! Pray. Give it to God. Put it in His more than powerful hands, for HE IS MORE THAN ABLE to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we could ever ask, think or imagine! It’s all according to the power that is at work in us, for if His Spirit is in you, then He’s working in you! He can’t and won’t fail you now. He never has and He never will. So take your stance, and your position, and wait on God with an abandoned heart and empty hands lifted high. Giving praise to Him Who is on high.

“I confess that we’re gonna see a victory for the battle belongs to You Lord. No matter how many we’ve been through and no matter what we’ve came to. This is no new news to You, for You’ve already for seen and you already fore knew. You know how this story ends. This was a twist that we didn’t expect but nevertheless, You already seen and knew, it is written and you get the final say, amen. In Jesus name we pray!”

If God before us, who can be or stand against us? When the Creatpr of the universe is in and working throughand for us! Ask yourself and then take your stand. Power and might are both in His hand, and there is no one able to take a stand against Him, or to save you but Him.

“I sought the Lord and He heard and He answered

I sought the Lord and He heard and He answered

I sought the Lord and He heard and He answered

That's why I trust Him, that's why I trust Him”

Lyrics to “Trust In God” by Elevation Worship.

We can both trust Him and take Him and take Him at His word, indeed. He is a good, good Father and we are loved by Him.

Take Your positions, stand and see! That’s all you gotta do, for the battle does not belong to you. And worship your way through.

God, (I confess, pray and praise) I trust You.

The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:14

Untrust is unrest.

Quiet and confident trust doesn’t have to be loud. Be still.

I don’t have to fear because You promised you are with me. Amen. I take my stand of faith in You Almighty! You are MORE THAN ABLE. Yay though I walk through… I’m walking out! Ps 23

Turn it for good way Maker - turn it around

You’re The Only One WHO CAN!

I put it into your well abled hands and I think and praise you. Amen.
