Tears
Tears
Tears are a form of prayer that we cannot hide and God will not deny.
You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book. Psalm 56:8
Thank God, He sees your tears. He keeps record of every single one them. He knows your pain. Nothing is missing, even when we think that it is. One day we will see it, even though we can’t see it right now. One day we will hold a blessing, even though we are holding the pain right now. We can’t understand it now, all we see is confusion and all we feel is pain, but later we will.
He was despised and rejected— a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on Him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care. Isaiah 53:3
He knows how rejection feels. He was rejected too. He felt pain and suffering. He knows how it feels and He will make this trial a blessing though it send you to your knees.
My enemies WILL retreat when I call to you for help. THIS I KNOW: GOD IS on my side! Psalm 56:9
Lyrics to “God will make this trial a blessing” by McKameys:
“God will make this trial a blessing though it sends me to my knees
Though my tears flow like a river yet in Him there’s sweet relief
There’s no need to get discouraged there’s no need to talk defeat
God will make this trial a blessing and the whole wide world will see”
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who was tempted in every way that we are, yet was without sin. Hebrews 4:15
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, / who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
Not only will He will help you through this, but you will in turn help others through their pain and suffering, out of your own pain and suffering! Double edged; double payment!
Your payment is your tears! Your reward will be His blessing.
Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them. Psalm 126:5-6
This is a promise and proof that your tears carry weight and are prayers! God knows a word even before it leaves your tongue. Even though it is important to pray, sometimes we just simply cannot find the words and so our tears are the seeds - our internal prayers.
Pain cost you something but your tears are the payment. He will reward your pain.
Sow in tears now, reap in joy later. God knows if prayers are sincere and how deep the pain really is, even when no one else sees or knows.
He tracks and keeps ALL of our tears in a bottle and is saving the reward to release when the time is right. He’ll pour out the blessing.
Tears are silent prayers heard on God’s end.
When you cry, I believe He’s already cried with you. Jesus wept. God was pained because of His Son’s pain.
Your tears matter and are personal to Him. You’ll reap what you’ve sown. The tears are watering your heart and souls deepest desires.
The harvest time will be plentiful.
The planting season may be rough and you may not think that the promise or reward will or could ever come, but it’s coming! Simply because He said so! It’s only the beginning.
We know that weeping may endure for a night (nights are seasons and some longer than others) but joy comes in the morning. The sun will rise again.
“Let us acknowledge the LORD; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, He will appear; He will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.” Hosea 6:3
Night seasons of weeping eventually turn into day songs of joy and rejoicing! Just as Jesus’ season of persecution and being buried turned into a resurrection on the 3rd day!
VERY TRULY I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. John 12:24
God will reproduce something good from our pain. What feels like the death of us now is often the beginning of new growth and life.
Those who sow in tears… 😭 will reap with shouts of joy! 🙌🏽 hallelujah
My tears have been my food day and night, while people say to me all day long, “Where is your God?” Psalm 42:3
Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God. Psalm 43:5-6
Deep calls to deep. He hears your prayers through your tears. May we remember that HE PROMISED to come to us and may we remember His faithfulness of times past. He is the same always. He does what He says, always and forever. The larger the battle, the greater the win! Amen.
By day the LORD directs his love, at night his song is with me— a prayer to the God of my life. Psalm 42:8
Blessed are you who hunger now, For you shall be filled. Blessed are you who weep now, For you shall laugh. Luke 6:21
Sow now, reap later….
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9
He has seen your tears. It’s often when we feel Him the least that He’s actually the closest - sitting right there beside us. When heaven is most silent, He may just be working the hardest. It’s when we look back later that we see it was He that carried us all along the way. Your tears are NOT in vain….
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18
Your tears may be your food now but will be blessings later! Wait and see.
Weeping may endure for a night….. BUT JOY…..
Read Psalm 56!
THIS I KNOW, that God is for me!
We can know, be sure and confident in this Fact if we are His.
He responds when His children cry.
They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” Revelations 7:16-17
In His presence is fullness of joy. Draw close to Him and He will draw close to you. Begin to seek Him with your whole heart and begin to find Him. This often begins with a tear. Then continue to seek and continue to find.
But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9
“You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.” John 13:7
