Give Him Praise
God is worthy of it all and we can praise before our breakthrough, because we recall times past of how He saved. How He saved me. How He saved you. He lifted us up out of the horrible pit that tried to keep us down.
And he (David) said:
“The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;
The God of my strength, in whom I will trust;
My shield and the horn of my salvation,
My stronghold and my refuge;
My Savior, You save me from violence.
I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised;
So shall I be saved from my enemies.
2 Samuel 2:2-4
“We can call and we can call Him worthy to be praised.”
It’s all about You God; nothing else.
At this moment I give You praise! Not later; now! That’s my sacrifice. On the alter I pour out and lift up of my praise to You. Praise. Sing. GIVE THANKS. It’s all in the Thanks-Giving. The Gratitude. You saved me before Lord, save me again. I just want to stop and say thank You. You’re worthy of it all.
Same God then, now and forever more
I will enter your gates with thanks-giving in my heart and so I enter into Your presence; power! Your presence is power. I will Praise’ - lifting up my voice, making a joyful noise, letting my voice be heard; Praise! Sing! Lift up a melody. My worship is my weapon. When Hezekiah and the people saw what God had done so quickly because they had sacrificed to Him and honored Him, and set their hearts right, then they rejoiced!
Then Hezekiah and all the people rejoiced that God had prepared the people, since the events took place so suddenly. 2 Chronicles 29:36
God does great things when we set our hearts right and seek Him and to please Him. We can rejoice and should! Praise ushers His presence in and where His presence is, His power.
Then the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the Lord to its place, into the inner sanctuary of the temple, to the Most Holy Place, under the wings of the cherubim. 2 chronicles 5:7
His place and His temple is in your heart.
And it came to pass when the priests came out of the Most Holy Place (for all the priests who were present had sanctified themselves, without keeping to their divisions). 5:7
Cleansing is an acknowledgment and a process. It’s an act and an action. He wants to live in a clean temple and pure, for He is Holy and we must separate ourselves from the unclean. We must dedicate our hearts and lives unto Him and separate what tries to divide our hearts. He wants our whole heart.
INDEED it came to pass, WHEN the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the Lord, saying:
“For He is good,
For His mercy endures forever,”that the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud, so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God.
5:13-14
GIVE PRAISE!
Great and mighty things happen and His glory fills our lives when we dedicate ourselves fully to and worship Him! With one heart and voice! Not divided by the world or distracted by what tries to divide us from Him, and what tries to steal our attention or cause us to sin. May our focus, worship, praise and hearts be fully set on Him.
When the priest sanctified themselves and the people began to praise and play instruments with one voice in unison, making their voices be heard, His presence came down in the form of a thick cloud. So thick and heavy that they couldn’t even stand or finish ministering to one another. Lord, won’t You interrupt our time and space with Your presence and may Your glory fill this place. Fill my heart and my home and this place as I sing and GIVE thanks and praise. In honor and worship I honor and worship You with praise. I trust You will in return fill this place with presence and power. That’s what You do. I praise, honor, glorify and lift up my voice to You on High. May Heaven come down. I magnify You over my issue for You are worthy of all Praise. As I focus on You more, my problems begin to shrink.
David acknowledged THAT GOD was worthy of praise and that HE ALONE had saved him from His enemies . LIFT UP your praise. Recall What He has done in times past. LET YOUR voice be heard in worship and in praise. Confuse and confound the enemy, and usher in the presence of God Almighty Himself. H me is Spirit and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth!
Make the enemy mad and send him off marching. Put the enemy in his rightful place by focusing on God and putting God in His rightful place in your life. Just like His people did when they put the ark of the covenant in its rightful place, right inside the holy of holies. Cleanse your hands you sinners. Ask God to purify your hearts. Stop doing what you’re doing and start honoring Him. Right here, right now, right where you’re at. He wants to live in your heart! The only way to His Holy hill is through cleanliness and a pure heart and that happens in separation, dedication and worship. Worship, follow, magnify, exalt, focus on, and MAGNIFY HIM. Lift HIM high in praise.
Praise HIM right now and watch the power come down and activate in and through your life, though YOUR worship. You become what your focus is. Worship -honor -glorify- magnify HIM.
When the praise goes UP the power comes DOWN. Lift UP “your praise. Magnify, honor and exalt Him.If He did it before, He can do it AGAIN.
Let your voice be heard! Do not withhold praise to Whom it’s due and so withhold what He wants to do in and for you. Destroy and divide the enemy against you, for the God that’s for you is greater in you. Activate your praise. Lift up empty hands and heart abandoned. Sing. Worship. Cry. Rejoice. Just Give thanks. Honor. Lift your song.
How can I not praise You; when You saved me so mightily? Lord God, I don’t want to forget what you did for me and how You saved me. That Your praise ever be “upon my lips” to honor and magnify YOU OH GOD, with my whole heart and life. To tell about all Your deeds and how your saved me so others might be saved and experience You and Your saving power of salvation too! What better day than today! Lord God, it’s ALL about You. Make a way where there seems to be no way. You are not a dead end, You are the Way! Your Spirit and power working and abiding IN AND THROUGH ME . I am Your vessel for Your use!
I am the temple and what was left in shambles and in ruins (like Hezekiah’s day), I give it all back to You. My heart is yours and I am your temple. My heart belongs to You and You belong in my heart. I can’t dethrone You in Heaven but today I ask You to come back in and be placed back on the throne of my heart. I too want to rejoice at how quickly you come back in and make peace!!!!!! Christ is King.
Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise. Jeremiah 17:14
I lift up my heart , my voice and my hands to You Oh Lord. You saved me!
