Praising Before Your Break-Through

All because He has gone before you.

WHEN Paul and Silas began to sing, the cage began to rattle!!!

Sometimes the way we shake the enemy and rattle the chains is to praise, even in the place it seems that we’ll never escape. Let me rephrase that: “Especially in the place it seems that we’ll never escape.”

Lift up your praise with a shout!

  • Acts 16

25 ABOUT MIDNIGHT Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. 26 SUDDENLY there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose. 27 The jailer woke up, and when he saw the PRISON DOORS OPEN, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself because he thought the prisoners had escaped. 28 But Paul shouted, “Don’t harm yourself! We are all here!”

Sometimes it’s at the midnight hour when things seem impossible and like the promises won’t come to pass (or most often I should say), that’s when God steps in. It’s just not always our timeline. He moves and works in mighty ways. Just like Joseph may have thought he would never get out of prison. His very own brothers sold him out and meant it for harm, but in the end, God turned it for his good-and for the saving of many! It’s often not just for your delivery but also for the saving of many. When Paul and Silas were released from prison and the walls came crashing down, the jailer and his whole family was saved because of it. The fear of the Lord came upon him.

As did Joshua sing praise when the walls of Jericho came crashing down. Or, when the people of Israel began to sing when God told them they didn’t have to fight, only to trust and believe and to be still and see! He would save them. He was with them. He’s with you and He’s with me. Their enemies also helped destroy each other! He has the final say. God already promised that the land was Joshua’s and the people of God. They just had to do what He was telling them to do in order to possess it. Amen!!

Obedience is the key that unlocks the door to your rewards. Your foot can possess every where it steps but you must do the stepping. The just shall live and walk by faith, and we know that faith without works is dead. We must take God at His word and actively follow and seek.

  • Joshua 6

2 And the Lord said to Joshua: “See! I HAVE GIVEN Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor. 3 You shall march around the city, all you men of war; you shall go all around the city once. This you shall do six days. 4 And seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark. But the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets. 5 It shall come to pass, when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, that all the people shall shout with a great shout; then the wall of the city will fall down flat. And the people shall go up every man straight before him.”

HE TELLS THEM IN ADVANCE WHAT IS THEIRS BUT THEY MUST FOLLOW THROUGH.

Now go read the rest the story to see how it turned out and how God performed what He said. WHEN they obeyed what He told them to do. Our job is to obey whether it’s to march, stand still or just praise! It came to pass just as God said. First He speaks, then He performs. (1Kings 8:15) He first gives us the promise, then comes the battle, but in the end the victory! No pain, no gain. It’s teaching us to trust and depend on Him. Lastly, no fight means no friction or opposition, and going the right direction isn’t always a smooth flow as we’d wish. But nevertheless, God is with us!!!

He fights for us. He wouldn’t have given us the promise on which to stand unless He knew that we’d face a challenge, and then comes our victories. He’s always victorious and the battle belongs to Him. He’s always with us and that’s the hope we hang onto. These things come through trust and belief, and faith in God in action.

Take your positions, STAND AND WITNESS the salvation OF THE LORD Who is with you! (Derived from 2 Chronicles 20:17). You don’t have to fear or be dismayed and in fact He told us not to!! The Lord is with you. That’s all we need to know in this life is that “THE LORD IS WITH US.” (Psalm 23) He goes before you even know He goes. He stands behind you. He has you surrounded on all sides by His angel army and we are covered His blood IF we have accepted and follow Him.

Joshua was told to march around the walls 7 times and on the 7th round to shout!!

Also the people of Israel in 2 Chronicles 20 were told to believe!!!  To trust and believe in the Lord and they’d be established, secure and succeed ,and they did! They first fell down before the Lord worshipping Him! Posture is everything. Then some stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel with a very loud voice. They got low and loud before they went higher.

They got up in the morning as directed and went out and AS OR WHEN they begin to sing - the Lord set ambushes on their enemies. ⚔️ They went back to Jerusalem with joy, for the Lord had made them rejoice over their enemies. When everyone heard about what God had done for them, the fear of God came upon them all. Again, The LORD had made them rejoice over their enemies. The kingdom of Jehoshaphat was was quiet, for his God gave them rest on all sides.

God can give us rest today and do for us what He did for them, if we will just trust in and lean! It’s hard not to but we must not lean unto our own understanding no matter what it looks like or we fail to understand what He’s really doing, everytime. But instead, in every single one of our ways to acknowledge Him and trust that He is going to bring it to pass (our delivery and what He promised) when the time is right. We must continue to pray and give thanks. It is birthing season. Just like a woman giving birth, God‘s gonna bring it to pass in due time and when the time is right. He alone will make it happen. It’s just like a seed that’s first buried, then grows, just to bring much fruit. There’s much purpose in the pain and in the hiding.

He has already spoken into existence the end from the beginning. He first speaks to us and then He performs, just as Solomon said. God makes good on His promises but we must stand! So like a mother that is soon going to be in the pains of labor but will then hold the child, so we must trust that God‘s birthing something new in us. WHEN you hold it, you’ll forget about focusing on how bad the pain was for you will have traded it for His promises and blessing. You get to name your blessings like Joseph did his children that came out of bondage! The bigger the pain you carry, the bigger the blessing you hold. Victory belongs to you.

When God delivers you, the fear of God will come on those who will witness your delivery. Blessings often proceed battles. Victory doesn’t come first without a fight. So, don’t quit. Press in. Do not be afraid or dismayed for He is with you! Whom or what shall we fear if God is with us?! “The battle belongs to You Oh God.” Taste and see that the Lord is God and He is good. That’s a promise He will keep to never leave you or forsake you, and to help you. Take your position, stand still and witness the Salvation of the Lord, Who is for and with you! Amen.

God is about to do very mighty things!!! Stand on His promises true. He’s going to open doors accordingly, and you’ll reap a harvest where He spoke! He cannot and will not lie about what He promised you. He promised to be with you and that victory belongs to Him. If you’re His, you have nothing to fear, but everything to trust and declare! He’s about to do exceedingly abundantly and open doors no man can shut no matter how bad they want to. He will prepare a table for you in front of or before the very ones that thought they broke you so they have to see and declare too. Amen!!!!!!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Only sing louder!!! Proclaim and watch the prison walls shake and fall………

Song of the day: 🎶 “Mighty Name of Jesus” by The Belonging Co & Hope Darst

I strongly recommend listening to this and declaring this song over you and your families life!!!!  Amen.

I also heard this song for the first time this morning!!! 🙌🏽👏👏:

“Hallelujah Even Here” by Lydia Laird

For what I cannot see! Even when I can’t see it, You’re working and even when I can’t feel it. I’m learning when Heaven is most silent, He’s working the hardest. Just as Daniel couldn’t see the angel but nevertheless he was on his way. God hears and heard us from the first time we began to pray! Don’t quit!

“You are Way Maker and Miracle Worker and Promise Keeper and Light in the darkness. God turn it around for our good and Your glory. I put my trust in You and believe in You that You will do what You said You’d do. Amen.

He won’t fail me now.

But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9
